Age Against The Machine - Over 30s Xmas Daytime Party

Age Against The Machine is hosting an Over 30s Xmas Daytime Party at Dust Brighton on 5 December 2026. The event runs from 15:00 to 19:00 and is strictly for those over 30. Organisers Don and Reg, who have been running these parties in London for over 13 years, are bringing the format to Brighton.

The music selection is wide-ranging, covering pop, indie, rock, disco, Motown, rock 'n' roll, power ballads, soul, punk, ska, northern soul, and funk. Given the time of year, they are also including festive classics to rock around the Christmas tree. The list of artists is extensive, spanning decades and genres. You can expect to hear tracks from Prince, The Clash, Kate Bush, Chic, Bon Jovi, The Cure, Stevie Wonder, Human League, Blondie, The Killers, Dolly Parton, The Spice Girls, Pet Shop Boys, Tina Turner, Blur, Bonnie Tyler, Rolling Stones, Pulp, The Smiths, The Specials, Kylie, The Strokes, Elton John, Joy Division, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, KC and the Sunshine Band, Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran, Gloria Gaynor, Soft Cell, Bee Gees, Belinda Carlisle, Madonna, The Beach Boys, Queen, Meat Loaf, Phil Collins, The Temptations, The Beatles, Frankie Valli, Whitney Houston, The Kinks, James Brown, Cher, INXS, New Order, ABBA, Erasure, Journey, Madness, The Stone Roses, The Jam, The Supremes, Depeche Mode, and Donna Summer.

The event has been described by Time Out as 'the perfect place to dance and shake off the mid-life blues' and they have noted, 'Beware! The oldies are taking over!'. The brand has previously appeared at festivals including Isle of Wight, Latitude, Standon Calling, and Brighton Fringe.

This is a 'No Kids Allowed' event. You must bring a valid photo ID to gain entry, even if you have purchased an advance ticket. The venue is located at 77 East Street, Brighton BN1 1NF. While the ticket price is currently to be confirmed, the event operates on an advance ticket system.
