Tiffany Lynch, who is a local painter and co-founder of the Studio Greenhouse collective in the Brighton Laines, is presenting a new collection of work for this exhibition. Her pieces focus on landscapes and marinas, drawing direct inspiration from the surroundings we see every day in the city. She captures the specific golden light of Sussex, the familiar views of Brighton’s rooftops, and the character of our sea fronts. To achieve these effects, she works with a combination of acrylics and spray paint, which allows her to build up vibrant colours while maintaining the calm quality of natural light. Her approach is rooted in the local geography, translating the visual experience of living in Brighton into her canvases. Alongside her work, the exhibition includes pieces by Natasha Boast, whose contributions round out the display.
If you are interested in hearing more about the process behind the paintings, there is a meet and greet session scheduled with Tiffany Lynch on Saturday 5th June 2026. This provides a direct way to discuss the techniques used in her latest collection. The Art5 Gallery operates as a commercial space, so the works on display are available for purchase. While the gallery is open to the public, it is worth keeping in mind that it functions as a retail environment for collectors and art enthusiasts. The exhibition is currently open for visitors to view the collection in person at the Prince Albert Street location. The gallery is well-equipped for visitors, including facilities for card payments, making it straightforward if you decide to purchase a piece from the exhibition. It is a central spot to visit while you are out and about in the city centre during the festival period.
