Their sound is built on a foundation of shoegaze, emo, and alternative rock. Over the last few years, they have been developing their own voice within these genres, moving from the release of their debut self-titled album to their more recent work on Downward (LP2). This second record represents a significant step in their output, having been recorded and produced by Kendal Osborne. The technical side of the album was completed by Corey Coffman, who handled the mixing and mastering, ensuring the textures they are known for are captured clearly. Seeing them perform live will provide an opportunity to hear how these specific arrangements from the new record hold up alongside their earlier material.
The lineup for the night is rounded out by two local Brighton bands, Looseleaf and AeternuM, who will be opening the show. If you are planning to attend, keep in mind that the event is strictly for those aged 18 and over. Doors for the evening are scheduled to open at 19:30, giving everyone time to get settled before the music starts. Tickets are priced at £13.20, which consists of a £12.00 face value plus £1.20 in booking fees. It is a straightforward setup for a night of live music in the city, with the venue providing the space for the band to showcase their latest material alongside their established tracks.
