A showcase of emerging Sussex artists supported by AudioActive, featuring a collaboration with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
AudioActive brings the EMERGE 25/26 Showcase to Quarters on Friday 10 July, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra on board. It's a free night of live music from some of the emerging artists Sussex has to offer, and it's the culmination of six months of work for the musicians involved.

Those artists have spent the last half-year in EMERGE, AudioActive's flagship talent development programme. It's aimed at young musicians aged 18 to 25, and the support they get is quite comprehensive: mentoring, masterclasses, industry insight, performance opportunities, and dedicated artistic development. The London Philharmonic Orchestra is part of that package, and they'll be collaborating with the musicians throughout the process. The showcase is where all that work finally comes out on stage.
The bill is a long one, with nine acts in total. You'll hear from Budd Beginnings, Diz Lyric, Luan, Xailia, Kesh, Ells, Imani Ruiz, Max Adriaan, and Trinity and Friends. The music covers rap, R&B, alternative sounds, and originals that they describe as defying any one genre, so it's a fair spread across the night rather than one particular style. It's a good way to catch several new names in one go, especially if you're into the rap and R&B side of things.
It's a free night, so you don't need to worry about tickets. The showcase runs from 19:00 to 22:00 at Quarters, 187-193 Kings Road, Brighton, BN1 1NB.
