There's a fantastic twist to the story: people who identify as women suddenly lose the ability to lie. It's an unexplained shift, and Hazel decides to use it to her advantage. She's spent a long time struggling with a chronic illness she doesn't fully understand, and she figures that if she can't lie, she can finally push for the diagnosis she's been chasing. The whole thing hangs on one question: if she's telling the truth, she has to be believed, right?
It's a play that sits right in that gap between the everyday and the surreal, and it's being run on a 'Pay What You Can' basis. There's no fixed ticket price, so when you book, you choose how much you want to contribute. The idea is that those who can afford a bit more help cover the cost for those who can't, which keeps the show accessible to as many people as possible.
