Ricky Gervais brings his new stand-up show, Legend, to the Brighton Centre on Monday 16 November 2026. It's part of a UK tour that kicks off in September and runs through to December, with international dates planned for 2027. The Brighton show will be recorded for his fifth Netflix special, following Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon, and Mortality.

As for what's on the bill, Gervais has described this as his most personal show so far. He's been quite open about why, saying, 'Because both cancel culture, and most people I knew growing up, are dead, I can really say what the f*ck I want now.' It's a new hour of material, and since it's being filmed, the Brighton crowd will end up as part of the final cut.
There's a bit of a track record behind this one. His last four tours โ Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon, and Mortality โ all broke box office records and topped the Netflix charts. Armageddon and Mortality each picked up the Golden Globe for Best Stand-Up Comedy on Television, in 2024 and 2026 respectively. He's also kept up a habit of giving back: after Mortality wrapped in 2025, he donated ยฃ2.43 million to animal charities around the world, and he'll be donating a portion of the ticket sales from Legend to charity too.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday 26 June at 10:00 am via livenation.co.uk, and there's a limit of six per person. The show is 16+, so it's not one for the younger ones. Doors open at 18:30 at the Brighton Centre, and it's seating only, so you'll have a chair for the night.
