Live music performance by the five-piece band Divorce Attorney, known for their art punk, shoegaze, and noise rock sound.
Divorce Attorney play The Prince Albert on Friday 25 September, from 20:00 to 23:00. They're a five-piece based on the south coast, with members split between Brighton, London and Portsmouth, so this is a home-turf show for them.

Their sound pulls from a few different places at once: art punk, shoegaze, noise rock, art rock and grunge. It's the kind of mix that sits somewhere between the jagged edges of punk and the wall of sound you get from shoegaze, with grunge and art rock filling in the gaps. They describe it themselves as 'post-separation core', which gives you a fair idea of the mood they're working with.
They've been playing live across the UK and Europe, and their recent EP has picked up mentions in DORK, Earmilk, Clash Magazine and God is in the TV. If you're into the noisier, more experimental end of the indie scene, that's the kind of territory they're in.
The show runs from 20:00 to 23:00, and while the price is listed as to be confirmed, there's a link to book tickets online, so it's a ticketed night. If you're planning to go, it's worth sorting yours in advance.
