Squeeze are a British pop-rock band built around the songwriting partnership of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, who started it all back in 1973. Over the years they've put out songs like 'Up The Junction', 'Tempted', 'Cool For Cats', 'Another Nail In My Heart' and 'Labelled With Love'. The tour is out in support of Trixies, their new studio album, which came out on 6 March 2026 through BMG. It's their first record in eight years and the 53rd in their discography, so it's been a while since they last put out a full album.
Billy Bragg, the singer, songwriter and activist, opens the night as their very special guest. Between him and Squeeze, that's two distinct songwriting traditions on one bill. The Brighton date is the tour's closer, so it's the last stop of the Tried, Tested and Trixies run.
Doors open at 18:30 at the Brighton Centre, and tickets went on sale on 28 November 2025 at 09:30, with a limit of eight per person. It's a show for fans of pop and classic rock, and under 14s have to be accompanied by an adult.
